Creative Silks and Velvets

	Sue dyes silks and silk velvet to produce a wide range of wraps, scarves, bags, corsages and small gifts. Recently she has taught herself nuno felting. In this type of felting small quantities of wool and pieces of fabric are placed on the surface of lightweight silk and then felted and embellished.
	The result is a unique, durable, warm and lightweight fabric which drapes beautifully. Sue transforms this new fabric into versatile scarves and wraps which can be worn with any outfit from jeans to evening wear. A felted corsage adds the finishing touch.
I live with my furniture maker husband, Rob Elliot www.robelliotfurniture.com beside the River Ettrick in the Scottish Borders town of Selkirk. Why not visit my studio/shop and see more. I am open Monday-Friday 9.00-12.00am and 1.00-5.00pm. Saturday morning 9.30-12.00. Talks and demonstrations given – I can accommodate up to 25 people.
