I specialise in high quality, detailed botanical and
natural history illustration using watercolour, acrylic ink, technical pen, coloured pencil or gouache.
I enjoy using mixed media for my textural work attracted to the close up patterns and forms of nature which
provide an endless sense of discovery and I also experiment with different subject matter and
techniques to remain open to and stimulated by new possibilities.

I run local day classes in flower painting in the Jedburgh and Hawick areas on Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons respectively. These are kept small and informal, catering for beginners and the more experienced. Please contact me for further details.
